Return and Refund Policy

Please report all damaged orders within 48 hours of receiving your order, Photos of the damages are very helpful for me to claim from the postage company used!

If you notice something is missing and you have not been previously informed of this, please email me at sales@curiescientific.co.uk and I will be happy to provide you with an update.


In the event of a return request please get in touch within 7 days of receiving the product/s include the information below in your returns email titled 'return request' sent to the above mentioned email address:


  • Reason for return (e.g. damaged or wrong product)
  • Name of item/s being returned
  • Quantity of item being returned
  • If the item is being returned in its original packaging


In some circumstances there will be a restocking fee if the product is in good working order and the reason for the return is a change of mind, in this case, you will also be expected to cover the cost of posting the return and to ensure that the product is returned in its original packaging.

When the product is received back and checked, your refund will be processed back to the payment method used, should I have any issue with this, i will call you to rectify the issue ASAP

Here at Curie Scientific I aim to provide the best customer service I possibly can, That's why:

  1. I strive to understand my customers needs, aided with nearly 16 years experience in the science education sector
  2. I will be prompt in replying to issues and queries relating to customer enquiries about products and services
  3. Professionalism is crucial, and whilst I am currently the only employee, this professionalism will not faulter and I will endeavour to give you the best experience possible
  4. I will aim to ensure full customer satisfaction
  5. First impressions are important, hence the detail on the website about who I am and what I hope to achieve
  6. Organise my working week to best suit my customers needs, ensuring |I am hands on for phone calls and emails during the hours you will be working. Your working hours are my working hours
  7. I will review my products and service to make sure I am offer a great selection and varied options of products
  8. I want to work with you, side by side, regarding product development and anything you feel needs addressing where there is a gap education equipment
  9. Your feedback is crucial to me to allow me to identify what works well and where you think improvements can be made
  10. After sales, I am always on hand to help. If you need anything regarding an order, please do not hesitate to get in touch

Complaints procedure

Please get in touch ASAP if you experience any issues with a product or service I provide.

  1. All written complaints will be acknowledged by email within 24 hours of receipt, verbal complaints made by phone call will be acknowledged in the same way.
  2. All complaints will be fully investigated by myself within 48 hours of a complaint being filed
  3. Within 7 days I will send actions and offers of resolution for issues bought to my attention. These will be done in writing via an email, or a phone call if requested
  4. If you are dissatisfied with my resolution please respond within 7 working days stating issues and why you feel the resolution is not up to standard
  5. Any resolution agreed will be actioned by myself within 7 working days

if for any reason we are not able to come to a satisfactory conclusion I advise you to seek advice on next steps and I will be more than happy to accommodate

The environment is something I am very passionate about. You will not find a printed version of this but I am in the process of getting an electronic version added to the website, for now, the shop link is the best option for browsing or feel free to drop me an emal for any specific product/ service enquiries


No, as long as you are an educational establishment or in industry you can order from me. I do not need you to sign up to anything. I may ask for permission to keep your email address so I can send you some material on offers and new equipment as I get them in! but you can opt of this at anytime


Some items are in stock, some have a lead time. If you would like more information on this please mention it before placing an order, or add a note section to let me know which products you would like this information for on your order. I am a new business and it will take me some time to get stock levels up.


You can either use the online ordering system on this website or you can send your order directly to: sales@curiescientific.co.uk 


When you have received the completed order an invoice will be sent to your finance department or you (depending on whose email address the order comes from


BACS is the best way for this, all details are supplied on invoices. I ask for invoice to be paid within 28 days of the completed order being received


If you have waited more than 7 days for an order please get in touch. I will endeavour to pass on any proof of delivery that i get ASAP, you may also get an email with a tracking number so you can see where your parcel is


Please call me ASAP on 07494847864 to cancel an order, depending on the status of the order, there may be a restocking charge


Just send me an email or give me a call. I am here to help, just because you cant see it, doesn't mean I don't stock it


The price does not include VAT, whilst this will be added when invoicing, most schools are eligible to get this refunded. Watch your science budget for this!


The cost of our courses varies depending on the subject and length of the course. Please send a quote request to the main email address
